Pure Gold
For thousands of years Jerusalem has been known as the city of gold for an array of reasons including its enchanting yellow stoned walls. Gold also plays an important role in the history of Jewish people.   In the Bible, gold is mentioned 385 times, which is more than any other metal. Today a new exhibition at the Bible Lands Museum promises to shed light on the history of gold throughout the ages. The exhibition opened its doors on June 7th 2012 and is entitled Pure Gold.
